🚨Incident Summary:
🚨On 22 August 2025, villagers and animal activists exposed a cow slaughter racket operating in Bilha, Udiyapara (Bilaspur).
🚨A woman was caught butchering a cow alive.
🚨Another man and woman were openly slaughtering a 6-month-old Male Calf (Nandi Maharaj).
🚨Activists, disguised as customers, raided the spot and found large-scale illegal cow slaughter taking place.
🚨Around 18 activists joined the raid and witnessed horrific scenes of cow body parts (leathers, legs, heads, internal organs) being chopped inside huts.
🚨Evidence clearly shows illegal cow slaughter trade, openly defying state & national laws.

🚨Legal Violations:
🚨Chhattisgarh Agricultural Cattle Preservation Act, 2004 – prohibits slaughter of cows, calves, bulls, bullocks.
🚨Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Sec 11) – prohibits killing and cruel treatment of animals.
🚨BNS Section 325 & 428/429 IPC equivalent – Killing of animals, punishable with imprisonment.
🚨Violation of Article 48 of the Constitution – Directive Principle to preserve cows.
🚨Violation of Article 51A(g) – Fundamental duty to show compassion towards living beings.
🚨Evidence Collected:
🚨Eyewitness testimony of 18 activists & villagers.
🚨Photos & videos of cows being slaughtered.
🚨Physical evidence of cow remains in huts.

🚨Seizure of equipment, meat, hides & tools used for slaughter.
