Fascinating talks in #biostasis2020. Did you know that in Deep Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest (DHCA) surgeries patients are cooled, circulation stopped and brain function ceases? By most definitions patients are dead and later brought back to life. @EBFBiostasis

#biostasis2020 People systematically underestimate the number of cases and overestimate the number of providers for cryonics/biostasis. The prevalent misconception seems to be that many fly by night orgs are popping up and freezing a few people then dying out.
