Only did NCT to make friends (and still going strong 4 years later). But my “birth plan” was to get a section and it seemed to really perplex our instructor. (We spent 90% of the time on vag birth and 6/8 mums had sections in our group IIRC).

Apps such as this really add to the stigma surrounding #caesareanbirth. This results in so women having to fight for their #birthchoice- including undergoing psychological assessment. @BabyBuddyApp 2.0 needs to counter the dangerous #normalbirthatanycost rhetoric.
#caesareanbirth isn’t mentioned within the app until 23 weeks #pregnant. This is too late. No mention of the benefits of caesareans or the risks of vaginal birth. No mention of #informedconsent, #bodilyautonomy or #birthchoice. An app approved by NCT- now I can see why.
