Acquisition of these skills is crucial and should be encouraged throughout the career of a trainee surgeon #bjsopenchat

An important lesson (or reiteration) from COVID-19 has been the potential for amazing academic work to be done at a geographic distance (think #zoom etc). What about deaneries formally matching interested trainees with senior interested academic trainers? #bjsopenchat
