Bit sad day for me ... I was staking $BTC $ETH $MATIC on @FideumHQ since #Blockbank times ... after a request I got the news that the conditions of the asset staking were changed: Few weeks ago you got 5% in the asset + 10% $FI bonus on top ... now only 5% in the VIP tier (tbh I donno when they cut off the staking boost as I'm not aware of any announcement - maybe I was blind also by reading every post). Sad to see, that this genuine feature of boosted staking became now a real bad deal which can be topped by quite any other platform. I don't see any reason anymore to use these staking services as I know several secure DeFi alternatives with higher APR, which additionally don't work with any kind of lock up (BTC is the only asset where it is more difficult to get a secure alternative). The staking service was the only reason for me to invest into $BBANK / $FI ...
Locking up $50k in $FI just for getting 8% cashback on purchases with the hodl #Debitcard is not enough utility/benefit for me to deal with a general investment risk - I don't spent that much money ... I could maybe get $100 in $FI monthly. If the unfolding launchpad can change my mind is a good question ... but I guess that I've already found a better alternative with @AngelBlock_io $THOL in the early investment area. Oc the condtions of that Lp will make the final decision.
I know many #Finatics dream of a xb mc for #Fideum ... the cashback and the unfolding launchpad are the remaining things that could attract retails in the mid term ... The Fideum Chain stuff with working Dapps is imo a longterm perspective and competitiors aren't sleeping. Future will show if the MiCa compliance will be the huge "gamechanger" ... I have my doubts ...
I am at least as convinced of @AngelBlock_io $THOL as I was of @FideumHQ $FI during the #blockbank $BBANK days. Even if it's quiet on the outside, there's something simmering in the background! The product is brilliant, even if many people still don't really understand what's special about it.
Regarding Alex's post: It's telling that some projects don't want to commit to milestones and I think it's good that the $THOL team doesn't deviate from the principles - to protect investors from lazy, stupid or criminal project managers ... or from just bad luck. As a founder, you should see it this way: If you commit to realistic milestones, investors will be more likely to trust you with more capital - a win-win situation for both sides. If you have a brain, use it!
