May I let you know that the #BlueBoxInitiative of @Lawma_gov @jidesanwoolu is aimed at removing the Recyclables from the waste for the purpose of recycling. The Recyclables are not going into the disposal site again, rather to the recyclers. So sort out your waste for recycling
There is no point separating waste at home or in a hotel if it all gets thrown together again to go to a waste dump. You send a signal but so what?? Total waste of time and energy! There needs to be a municipal citywide system in place to receive & process segregated waste.
