A longtime general manager says he was fired on Christmas after refusing to force his employees to work the holiday with no extra pay.
Instead of making staff miss Christmas for free, he volunteered himself. He ran an understaffed restaurant, cooked the food solo, handled nonstop orders, and closed the place the best he could.
They fired him anyway.
Now he’s starting over as a server, with a family to support.
Nineteen years of loyalty. Gone overnight.

#boycottrubytuesday I've been a certain bartender for over 25 years and this is horrible! I will never go to Ruby Tuesday again. I try not to go to any of these franchise places especially on holidays. They shouldn't even be open on Christmas!
