Such a shame that Eve wasn't in these scenes today either - I get Harry and Gina not being there because they ain't family but Eve is very much a member of the family I hate how the writing is sidelining her from family occasions. We should also be seeing scenes between Eve and The Slaters in the aftarmath of Zoe's death - she didn't share any scenes with Zoe but Eve is still an honorary Slater and she'd be there for the Slaters when they needed her.

Such a powerful and thought provoking moment when Suki began to lead everyone into prayer β€οΈπ₯Ί. We know how much Suki's faith means to her so it lovely to see Suki leading the ceremony. The transition from this scene to Kat at the Vic as well was heartbreaking ππ’ almost like the prayer was a sign of hope or healing for Kat at her darkest time.
Thank you @yasmeenkhan1 for your beautiful words today during the Namm Karan. I think it's so important to see scenes like this to help raise awareness especially for those who ain't aware of the Sikh traditions. Attention to detail is eveything and I love how this has been included in Vinny and Penny's journey as parents to Ethan.

I loved these scenes at the hospital today - it's good to see the show raising awareness on the sikh tradition of naming a child and I loved how Suki led the ceremony especially as we know how much her religion and faith means to her.

So that's one major plot point of the Flashforward officially resolved with Ethan being Penny/Vinny/Harry's baby by the time we reach the Flashforward. However there's still a major question mark over Penny and Vinny's whereabouts at this point as they don't appear in the episode ππ€ I assume the baby twist will be out at this point but with Jack left holding the baby - Where is Harry Vinny Penny etc??
I like how Jack got to choose the name - we know he wouldn't have picked a traditional sikh name for the child - I think the fact that Jack picked the name was also subtle Foreshadowing to the Flashforward with Jack left to look after the baby.
Not Oscar wanting to call the baby Edgar Eric or Enoch π€£π€£ Edward would've been a nice name too - Ricky calling the name Elliot common was funny. π
At least we know whatever happens that the baby will be called Ethan and if the baby is Harry's he's got no intention of changing the name that was chosen for him.
Such a beautiful scene sadly tinted by Penny's game changing baby secret. I love Penny as character and Kitty Castledine is spectacular but the way Penny is being written in this storyline is bothering me so much. She's had chances to tell Vinny the truth, she's kept Harry in the dark despite knowing they slept together, she faked a DNA test and kept it hidden from Vinny, she's lied to Priya about the Ethan's paternity and now she'll keep Lauren in the dark about her having another brother or sister. It's all just really messy and complicated stuff that wasn't needed. I hate how they're destroying Penny's character through this storyline and I wish they could retcon this silly baby twist that really wasn't needed. It's a rinse and repeat of the Arthur/Stacey/ Kush/Martin plot and I really can't see Vinny and Harry being joint dads to Ethan - it just wouldn't work and it would be way too messy. π¬

#EastEnders #Brannesar A good scene between Penny and Priya where Penny shares an update with Priya regarding Ethan's birth before things get heated as Priya confronts Penny over her baby secret.
Firstly why was Priya at the hospital when Penny was giving birth - Priya made an excuse to Penny for not being at Vinny's party because she felt guilty over her own secret - yet Priya is conviniently at the hospital when Ravi wasn't? So where was Ravi whilst Priya was at the hospital last night? And how did Priya manage to escape the situation? π€
Meanwhile, Priya doesn't really have a leg to stand on regarding her baby secret - she can't exactly use Penny's baby secret as leverage when she's carrying Max's baby herself and they both have so much to lose if their secrets eventually come to light of which we know they will.
Priya and Penny find themselves in very complex situations right now - both carrying babies who have the opposite dad ( Penny/Harry ( Priya/Max) - both women are linked with the same family Ravi/Vinny and Lauren was first to discover Penny's baby secret and the first after Ravi to discover Priya and Max's affair which will make the fact that Priya is carrying her brother or sister even more complicated keeping in mind she was the one who hired Priya at the car lot in the first place.
So now we know that the baby is Ethan that's at least one major clue in the Flashforward resolved - we know that Ethan would be linked to Vinny and Penny anyway - what happens to Penny and Vinny by the time we reach the Flashforward remains to be seen as we know that Jack is left holding the baby in the Flashforward and with all the death references from Penny recently there's a high chance that Penny may be killed off at the end of the year and I really hope this isn't the case because Penny is one of my favourite characters on the show and losing Penny would be devastating when Kitty Castledine is such a fantastic actressππΌππ’ I wonder if Penny's health scare might come back to haunt her at some point? Remember Penny had a blood clot in her leg during her pregnancy which led to breathing difficulties and Penny being rushed to hospital - the problem was resolved quickly but don't rule out this being revisited again at some stage especially with Penny being so sentimental about life lately - Penny could also be involved in the incident that is set to take place around NYD too where Max saves Ethan and Jimmy as referenced by Oscar and with a fire teased in the press - Could this be the incident that Max saves Ethan and Jimmy from landing Nicola on crutches and leading to Penny possibly losing her life ππ’
Penny confiding in Priya here about how happy Vinny was when Ethan was born and how Vinny has been shopping for baby items is heartbreaking. We know how much being a father means to Vinny and the thought of having that ripped away from him is devastating. I wish Penny got a real DNA test initially as opposed to a fake one when Nicola blackmailed her to give herself clarity and peace of mind. I really don't get how Harry hasn't worked out that he's the father of Penny's baby either especially as he knows he slept with Penny at the start of the year when he went into rehab.
The fallout from both of these baby secrets is going to be absolutely huge and I'm not ready for both bombshell to send shockwaves through the family. It's going to change the dynamic of the family forever and I feel that Vinny Penny and Gina and Harry won't be able to come back from this and it'll be absolutely heartbreaking. I just hope that Harry and/or Gina don't relapse as a result of the baby secrets coming to light. Harry has just recovered from his ordeal with Okie and Ravi whilst Gina has just got over Eddie being back so this secret will an even bigger blow for them when Harry and Gina are in the best place they've ever been in right now.

Firstly, Priya has no leg to stand on and I don't know why she's using the fact that Vinny isn't the dad as leverage when she's in the exact same situation as Penny given she's carrying Max's baby and not Ravi's. Confronting Penny like this is pointless because Penny and Priya both know there is so much at stake and a lot to lose once their baby secrets eventually come to light.
A dramatic turn of events for Priya and Penny where one secret is revealed another emerges as Penny immidiately puts 2 and 2 together and works out that Priya is carrying Max's baby - working out that Lauren is about to have another brother or sister - which makes things even messier as Lauren was one of the first people after Ravi to clock Priya and Max's affair before Cindy did. But with the pressure rising against both Penny and Priya to keep their secrets hidden - Will both women stick to their word as they hold each other over a barrel? Or will someone else blow everything?
Someone else that is set to throw a spanner in the works next week is Cindy - Having discovered that Priya is pregnant - she's set to put 2 and 2 together as she works out that Priya is pregnant with Max's baby after she discovers Priya's DNA test letter ( I knew she should've thrown that letter away) This will then lead to Cindy Blackmailing Priya into leaving Walford - A lifeline if you think about it from Cindy - a chance to escape the chaos and protect her unborn child but Priya's secret on a knife edge - Will Cindy's threat force Priya into revealing everything?
Either way - both secrets directly impact members of the same familly with Priya's impacting Ravi and Penny's impacting Vinny so we knew at some stage both of these stories where going to collide and with Ravi admitting in today's episode that him and Ravi don't directly see eye to eye all the time - Could this lead to more tensions between Ravi and Vinny at some stage? Don't forget Priya is still very much in the dark about Harry being the father of Pens baby with Penny admitting her that she'd slept with some random - I wonder how Priya is going to discover that Harry is the father of Penny's baby? Remember there's the fake DNA test confirming the baby is Vinny's which Penny asked Oscar to set up for her and Nicola suspected the baby was Harry's before she fell for the fake DNA test so this is where Suki and Nicola's feud could be reignited once both secrets emerge and completely explode. This is such a messy and complex situation for everyone involved - I just wish that Priya told Ravi the truth about her baby when she had the chance after he kidnapped Max. How Ravi is allowing himself to be so consumed by Priya's lies is quite baffling really? Max and Priya slept together on the same night - Ravi is aware of the affair and if Ravi couldn't pinpoint the exact moment that Priya conceived - Why can't he work out that the baby isn't his but it's Max instead? Part of me wants to think that Ravi is playing Priya and deep down he knows who the baby daddy really is because he's a lot cleverer then he's currently perceiving himself to be but right now this doesn't seem to be the case.
With Priya and Penny both desperately pleading with each other to keep their secrets under wraps and with Priya facing further pressure from Cindy next week - Who will be the first to crack? And who will the first to lose everything as we edge closer to the Flashforward? I hate this whole situation with a passion and I just wish that Vinny/Penny and Ravi and Priya were happy and not sharing the same scenerio.
Please let Vinny be the father of baby Ethan - Penny needs to stop buying her head in the sand and needs to get a DNA test for clarity and reassurance because either way the truth will come out and it'll destroy Vinny & Harry ππ’

A lovely little moment between Ravi and Vinny at the start of this scene β€οΈπ₯Ί I hope we'll get to see Vinny and Ravi share more scenes together before he leaves the show in 2027 - the awkward tension between Penny and Priya in that moment you could cut with a knife and things are only going to go from bad to a whole lot worse for Penny now that Priya's discovered Penny's baby secret at the end of tonight's episode. I wonder if Priya will use her newly found discovery as leverage to get one up on Penny although Priya technically doesn't have a leg to stand on given she's in the same situation with Max - I'm intrigued to see how these scenes play out tomorrow night.
The little moment between Ria and Vinny at the start of this scene really melted my heart - they have such a beautiful relationship and the fact that Vinny can bond so well with Ria gives us every confidence that he'll be a great father to Ethan β€οΈπ₯Ί I'm just devastated with how things are going to end for Vinny expecially as we know how much being a first time dad means to him.
A beautiful speech from Suki for Vinny π₯Ίβ€οΈ - they've had such a turbulent couple of years - with Vinny turning on Suki after he discovered her relationship with Eve - then there was tension around the adoption meeting when Vinny accused Suki of not caring for Jags on the anniversary of his death. Suki has made mistakes as a mother but every day she's been healing and growing learning from her mistakes and I think the adoption process has really helped with that as well. The fact that Suki's been given a 2nd chance to be the mother she wanted to be to her kids is such a turning point for Suki's character and seeing Suki's close bond with Vinny continue to develop and go from strength to strength makes me excited for the scenes we'll get between Ash and Suki when she returns next week. There's so much trauma to exolore there especially now Suki is married to Eve ( Ash's former girlfriend) and has a foster child. I can't wait to see Suki and Ash share scenes again for the first time in 3 years next week. Ash is one of my favourite characters on the show and I love Suki and Ash's mother daughter dynamic so I'm intrigued to see what the new Ash brings to the role alongside Vinny - she'll definitely throw the cat amongst the pigeons that for sure. I loved Vinny and Ash's bond as well so I can't wait to see their scenes again - I hope we'll get more scenes in the Panesar surgery with Ash being back too.
Harry berating Ryder for turning up late to the party as a vulnerable Ria accidently picks up Ryder's drug gummy sweets - I don't know why Ryder would bring those to the party when he was meant to be working at Vinny's birthday party. Ryder is lucky things didn't get a whole lot worse and Ria didn't take those sweets otherwise Suki would've been on the warpath and The Hawkins would know it be rest assured of that. Can't wait for the upcoming Hawkins Vs Panesars fued - these scenes are going to be so legendary to watch π₯π₯
Can't wait to see what Ash's relationship will be like when she meets Ria for the first time - Will we meet her GF at some point too. There's big content coming up for the Panesars ahead of the Flashforward and I'm so glad that Suki's side of the family is being built up again this Autumn ahead of Ravi's exit in 2027. I'm just hoping we get a Kheerat Panesar return at some stage now because he was an innocent man who went to prison for Ranveer's murder because he was protecting Suki and it would be so interesting to exolore Kheerat and Suki's relationship now that she's married and has a foster child etc.
With Ashneet Panesar returning to Albert Square next week after 3 years away - Would you like Kheerat to return at some stage and will he be recast? ππ€

I didn't like Suki's snippy comment towards Penny in tonight's episode - she didn't mean anything by it when she implied that Vinny will do all the work but it just makes it looks as though Suki was having a go at Penny gor having a disability which feels OOC for Suki when you consider how much she was there for Penny before she was rushed to hospital after her fall. β€οΈπ₯Ί
The press definitely overecagorate when it comes to Suki and the way she talks to people - I liked how Vinny stood up for Penny here but Suki just made a flippent comment and meant nothing by it - bedsides she treated Penny a lot worse when Suki first discovered that Penny was pregnant calling her terms like a "Gold digger" and accusing her of taking advantage of Vinny etc - she even made a killer threat to Eve about Penny at some stage.
Meanwhile, it was the calm before the chaos unfolded as Vinny accidently takes Ryder's Gummy drug sweets mistaking them for real sweets. Is Ryder stupid? If he's meant to be working a shift at Vinny's birthday party - Why is he bringing drugs to work with him? It doesn't make sense and it just feels random made even worse by the fact that there were kids at the party.
Imagine if Ria accidently took those sweets without knowing what they were - Suki and Eve are already under immense pressure for Harleen over custody of Ria and after the water slide incident with Alfie a few weeks back - Suki and Eve need to be extra vigilant. Sukeve are very lucky that things didn't get any worse then they already did.
What is everyone's first impressions on Ryder Hawkins so far? I feel like needs more time but presently I'm not warming to him the same way I am to the rest of the family - the fact that we don't really know his age either is making it hard for me to become invested. He quite annoying so far I hope that changes after some more time. I'm loving the rest of the family though.
I really wish Eve had more dialogue in tonight's episode then just the one line as well - Eve felt like a prop tonight watching the drama unfold in the distance when we should see having more scenes with the Slaters in the wake of Zoe's death.

A stoned Vinny is absolutely ICONIC! Everyone's reactions were absolutely brilliant - Suki's look of complete disgust, Nugget with his head in his hands whilst Harry and Gina are in complete shock as they put 2 and 2 together and work out what has happened.
Panic rising at Vinny's 30th Birthday party as everyone works out what to do next. I hate the way Suki was perceived as the "Bad mother" here just because she chose to be there for her grandson over her own son. Just because Suki chose to be there for Penny it doesn't make Suki a bad mother - Vinny had his friends looking out for him and if Eve had diagloue in these scenes I think Suki would've stayed with Vinny whilst Eve decides to go the hospital to support Penny at the hospital.
Suki's warning towards Ryder in the middle of this scene was brilliant π₯π₯. I am fully SAT for the Hawkins Vs Panesar fued that could be brewing off the back of this mistake from Ryder. Ryder didn't even look scared of Suki here π he doesn't know who he's messing with. We're still waiting for the "Bitch off" between Suki and Rose Hawkins. I just know this Feud is going to be legendary once it finally gets underway.

Why would Ryder being drugs to a birthday party though when there are kids around? He should've known better then that? He's really not coming across well so far as a character. I like Jodie Gemma Ned and Jodie though.

The bickering between Suki and Jack here was hilarious π they are going to be the best Grandparents to baby Ethan. Although I'm not prepared to see Suki's reaction when she discovers that Vinny's baby is actually Harry's and it's not his after all expecially with how Suki first acted towards Penny when she found out she was pregnant. π¬
A heartwarming moment beteeen Penny and Jack as they share a heart to heart with Jack reassuring Penny after she harbours insecurities about her parenting β€οΈπ₯Ί. The fact that Penny and Vinny both harboured the same insecurities in tonight's episode but had their friends and family there to reassure them that eveything is going to be ok was heartbreaking. β€οΈ
It's so good to see Jack stepping up for Penny and being there for her in her hour of need. Cast your mind back to 2024 and the way he completly sidelined her after the Club Crush - Jack hasn't taken accountability for causing Penny's accident in the past either but it was lovely to see Jack being the father that Penny deserves today. I genuinely believe that Jack's content with Denise during her AML storyline has helped to really strengthen and develop Jack's character a whole lot more. He's becoming a lot softer and is showing a more vulnerable side yet he's still fiercely protective ( we saw that when he lashed out at Craig a few weeks back) I love this version of Jack Branning and I think Denise's storyline has definitely helped Jack to become a lot more likeable as a character.
I wonder if Penny's blood clot might get addressed again at some point - We know she recoverd from that and it was dealt with quickly but all the death references from Penny recently and making me worried that they're going to revisit that side of the story again and I'll be devastated if we lose Penny by the end of the year. She was wrong for keeping the baby secret from Vinny and Harry and she should've addressed the situation with them a lot sooner but we know Penny is going to be the best mum to Ethan so I really hope that nothing bad happens to Penny between now and the Flashforward as Jack was left alone to hold the baby in the Episode and Penny was nowhere to be seen. We know there's meant to be an accident coming up involving Ethan and Jimmy as we know Max saves them - Nicola is seen on crutches in the Flashforward - there are boarded windows in the Vic and Penny is completly AWOL in the ep so I wonder if she was involved somehow in trying to save her son?
I really hope they don't kill off Penny before the Flashforward - she is one of my favourite characters and it would be absolutely devastating ππ’

It's cute scenes like this that make me wish the baby twist wasn't even happening. Harry/Gina/Vinny/Penny have the most wholesome friendship on the show and they are in 2 of the strongest relationships on the show presently so to see all this completly ripped apart in favour of this pointless baby twist that nobody even asked for is heartbreaking ππ’
Bless Vinny's little heart thinking he's not good enough for Penny or anyone β€οΈπ₯Ί Vinny is the purest guy on planet earth and he's the perfect guy for Penny - I just wish she wasn't doing this to him and once Vinny finds out that Harry is going to be the dad - it'll only help Vinny to harbour more doubts and make him feel even more insecure about himself ππ’ Seeing Vinny drastically spiral off the back of this game changing revelation will be so heartbreaking to watch. With that being said - at least Ash is back next week and she'll be able to support her brother in his hour of need. I really like Vinny and Ash's relationship so I can't wait for that to explored again.
Vinny's crashout after the baby secret comes out will be big but I worry that Harry's crashout might be even bigger. There will be fists flying between Harry and Vinny and I fear that Harry may have another relapse - there's also another chance that Gina might relapse too similar to be the big one she had in the Vic a few years back. ππ’
I still can't believe the writers are going ahead with this silly pointless baby twist that nobody wanted or need. Heartwarming and equally dramatic scenes at the end of tonight's episode as Baby Ethan is born and Vinny & Penny get to hold their son for the very first time whilst Priya learns Penny's baby secret. π₯Ίβ€οΈ
The moment Vinny and Penny got to hold their son for the first time was heartwarming - I just wish Penny wasn't hiding this huge game changing baby secret. The thought of Vinny having the chance of becoming a first time dad taken away from him is absolutely gut punching. I wish Penny had got a DNA test sooner as opposed to faking one in front of Nicola intially to cover her tracks. I know Vinny was stonned before he arrived at the hospital but how did he not realise that the baby isn't his just by the baby's skin colour - if the baby is Vinny's - Ethan would be mixed raced/darker skinned. I think once Vinny is in a better head space - it won't take him long to put 2 and 2 together. Vinny is caught up in the moment right now as his son has just been born - the moment Vinny gets taken off cloud 9 and learns the truth will be heartbreaking.
The moment Suki and Jack watched their grandson for the first time was lovely β€οΈπ₯Ί. Who'd of thought after all the Six drama that Jack and Suki would share a grand child π -- the moment Suki finds out the truth will leave her feeling absolutely devastated. Remember how Suki intially reacted when she discovered that Penny was pregnant - she called Penny a "Gold digger" and accused Penny of taking advantage of her son she even made a killer threat - this is only set to amplify further once Suki knows the truth - the fact that Lauren knows both major secrets before anyone else first as well is going to cause tension on both sides for Suki/Jack and Cindy/Lauren too. Don't forget there is also the feud between Nicola and Suki which spiked after Eve assaulted Nicola at Harry's Barn and Nicola blackmailed her - these tendons are only bound to get worse especially when Suki finds out that the baby could be Harry's over Vinny's.
What puzzles me the most is how Harry has had no suspicions that the baby could be his - he knows he slept with Penny before going into rehab which is around the time Penny became pregnant ( really don't see the point of this baby twist nobody wanted tbh) He shared that nice scene with Vinny a few months back in the Vic opening up about becoming a father one day - yet Harry didn't even question anything back then which just feels so strange. I wonder if Harry will put 2 and 2 together once he sees Ethan for the first time and realises he's light skinned. π
Dramatic moments at the end of this scene as Penny has a sudden change of heart - convincing herself that the baby is Vinny's just by the way he reacted to his son when he was born. Lauren also having a change of heart as she now encourages Penny to tell Vinny the truth - encouraging her to tell him sooner rather then 10 years down the line. The moment Oscar found out was the moment Vinny should've found out too and this is when Penny could've got a DNA test to put her mind at rest instead of making Vinny think that the baby is his when it obviously is.
Priya found out the truth π± I can't lie I had a gut feeling it may have been Priya - expecially as they're sharing the same baby dilemma and Penny only suspdeted last night that Priya could be carrying Max's baby - but with Priya set to leave the Square after being blackmailed by Cindy next week - Will Priya be able to hold onto Penny's secret? Or will she play Cindy's game and blackmail Penny just like Nicola did at the start when she suspected that Harry could the father?
The delusional in me still hopes that somehow the baby is Vinny's or if Harry finds out it's his he lets Vinny bring up his baby and he tries for one of his own with Gina. Harry may not even feel ready to be a dad so soon after his ordeal with Okie and Ravi last year.

It's good to see Penny finally reaching out for Vinny and raising concerns when she thinks something is wrong. After her recent health scare which saw her being rushed to hospital on the day of the shop opening after struggling to breathe you can't blame Penny for wanting to take precautions in ensuring her baby is ok ππ’
I really that this isn't foreshowing Penny's death ahead of the Flashforward - remember she was rushed to hospital last month after she developed a dangerous blood clot which caused pain in her legs - I hope this doesn't come back to haunt Penny and things end up getting a lot worse for her. ππ’
I'm not ready for Vinny to find out that Penny isn't carrying Vinny's baby but he's carrying Harry's instead. Vinny will be absolutely devastated as we know how much being a dad means to him. Surely Vinny will put 2 and 2 together if the baby comes out as white - I'm also surprised that Harry hasn't clocked that Penny could be pregnant with his baby keeping in mind that he addressed he slept with her before he went into rehab a few months back during a scene with Nicola.
Someone is meant to discover Penny's baby secret tomorrow when they overhear a chat between Penny and Lauren but who do you think will be first to discover Penny's baby secret apart from Lauren and Oscar who already know? ππ€

#EastEnders #Sukeve #Brannesar Tensions rise at No 41 between Vinny and Suki as Suki shares her frustrations with Vinny about Harleen wanting to secure custody of Ria.
I understand Suki's frustrations and anger towards Harleen wanting to secure custody but at the same time Harleen is still Ria's mother and she has every right to gain custody of Ria if she wants too despite abandoning her. Suki is forming a good bond with RiaΓ - sometimes fostering can involve reuniting families and Suki and Eve would've been made aware of this at the start of the process. Keep in mind Suki and Eve are also currently unaware of the circumstances which led to Harleen giving up Ria for adoption in the first place - she may have had her reasons in giving up Ria and this is why we need to meet Harleen at some stage to understand her circumstances. Suki and Harleen may have similarities in their backgrounds etc which would be interesting to explore further.
However - I also understand Suki's sadness at the thought of losing Ria π’π - Ria is their first foster child and she's built that special bond with Ria through her cooking and religion etc. Sukeve have been through so many hurdles to reach this point - they've given Ria a secure home, an environment where she feels comfortable secure and safe and the thought of Suki taking that away from her is making her feel guilty. This is Suki's 2nd chance after the mistakes she made with her own kids in the past and she wants to make the most of her opportunities with Ria in making precious family memories that she can treasure forever. At the same time Sukeve are foster parents so at some stage they'll get the chance to foster another child and take them under their wing the same way they did for Ria.
I love the way Vinny stands up for Penny here ππΌππΌ providing Suki with some home truths as he reminds her that Penny is the babies mum and it's her decision over what happens next as he encourages Suki to focus on her own family. Following Penny's health scare last week - this was good progression from Vinny's character - Vinny's starting to realise that he was slightly overbearing and he needs to give Penny some more space. Penny will ask for Vinny's help when she needs it because it's her body and her choice I just hope that she doesn't push Vinny away for too long.
Penny is obviously reluctant to want to accept Vinny's help because of her guilt over her baby secret with Harry but if she keeps pushing Vinny away he will start to become suspicious and he may even begin to put 2 and 2 together. Yes it's Penny's decision but equally she needs to let him in as well and stop pushing him away if she is convinced that she wants Vinny to be part of Ethan's life. Or she could've got a DNA test last night to help put her mind at rest. At least if Penny knew the baby was Vinny's she wouldn't have to push him away the way she has done so far.

Suki and Eve immidiately taken aback by Robin's revelation as they both admit it could be in Ria's best interests to live with her birth mother. I wonder if we'll actually meet Harleen at some stage? π€ It would be interesting to meet Ria's birth mother and understand her circumstances which led to her giving Ria up for adoption in the first place. Maybe she had a valid reason as to why she gave up Ria and now she feels ready to welcome Harleen back into her life again but Suki will refuse to go down without a fight.
Suki sees Ria like her own daughter now and they've formed a good bond where Ria feels safe and secure in her new home at No 41 so I hope Suki & Eve don't lose Ria. They've been so through so much to get to this point including the trials and challenges of getting a reference from Eve's homophobic mother Norma as well as the Avani baby stuff etc -- for Suki and Eve to lose everything they've worked so hard for now would be heartbreaking ππ’
Suki and Eve meeting Vinny and Penny in the middle of the Square as Suki attempts to distract herself following Robin's bombshell about Harleen. Suki telling Penny about the GP surgery as well as offering to buy Penny a bouncy chair for Ethan and bring her some lunch but a stubborn Penny refuses whilst Vinny accepts Suki's offer of help.
Suki's obviously smothering Penny as distraction following the news about Harleen but I wish Penny would stop being so stubborn and accept help when it's offered to her. Maybe she felt guilty here because Harry was standing there and her dark secret still hangs over her.
I hope it's not too long until Vinny finds out the truth about Ethan and the fact Penny could be carrying Harry's baby. The truth will destroy Vinny because we know how much being a dad means to him but it's better that he finds out now as opposed to when Ethan is born and he's forced to put 2 and 2 together.

Harry and Penny have such great chemistry as friends which makes this whole baby twist so complicated. I wish Penny confided in Harry sooner about her suspicions especially as they know they've slept together before Harry went into rehab. How has it taken Harry so long to put 2 and 2 together and work out Penny's secret regarding Ethan. It also won't take Nicola long to work out that Penny faked the DNA test - implying the baby is Vinny's. Suki & Nicola will both be on the warpath alongside Oscar who helped Penny to fake the DNA test initially.
A lovely moment between Eve Vinny and Penny as Eve offers Penny some Brownies after Suki and Ria have been baking together. I wish we got see these scenes between Suki and Ria at No 41. We know how much Suki loves using food as a way to communicate and bond with Ria and this would've been such a lovely bonding scene for them especially as they hit a stumbling block intially during Ria's birthday party. Can't wait to see how the Sukeve scenes play out this week with Harleen wanting to secure custody of Ria. Can't wait to see the return of fiery protective Suki ( this the side of her character I love the most π₯)
Penny continuing to confide in Harry after Eve left the scene as Penny harbours and doubts about her pregnancy - cautious of the fact that not everything may go to plan. Harry attempting to reassure Penny at the end that Vinny loves her - but when will Penny do the right thing and tell Vinny the truth about Ethan before it's too late?
I really thought we'd of seen Penny at the Doner drive today - not only because she's family but this could've been a good way to resolve her baby dilemma especially if Harry and Vinny where there too - if Priya can do it for her baby then Penny should be able to get a DNA test too. I just hope that Penny's pregnancy actually goes to plan as all the heavy death references lately are making me really nervous. I hope there are no complications during Penny's expecially following the health scare last week.
I look forward to seeing how the rest of the week unfolds with the Brannesar baby story - Vinny and Suki are set to come to blows tomorrow which means both stories could be colliding soon ( the Adaption and the pregnancy) which will be interesting especially to see the dynamics between Nicola and Suki again after they put their feud to bed recently and Nicola opened up to Eve about their shared trauma of fractured parenting/upbringing.
There's still so much to explore then on both sides of the family between Brannesar and MitchKnight and I can't wait to see how the rest of the story plays out with so much more depth still to be explored.
I love Harry and Penny's freindship - it's just a shame that it's about to get destroyed as result of the baby twist - if only Harry knew at this point what Penny is hiding?
