2024 was transformative for grassroots activism in Kenya. From #EndFemicideKE to #RejectFinanceBill, citizens drove change! We also supported advocacy on campaigns tackling #ObstetricViolence, #EndPeriodPoverty, & #BreakTheBlade, led by Nguvu Change Leaders.
Our #BreakTheBlade campaign is making inroads in Kenya, particularly in communities where FGM is prevalent. In Narok County, #NguvuChangeLeader & Anti-FGM activist Naomy Kolian brought community leaders together to break the blade. This is the power of collective action!
