Dear Yorubas,
They are trying to distract us from discussing the 19 Yoruba corpers held hostage in Imo State for over 4 days. We all know how loud they were during the Oriire saga.
We have just one job today - ensure we do not fall for the distraction!
#bringbackourcorpers
I just saw the news: 19 Yoruba corpers were kidnapped in Imo, and everywhere is quiet. The South East is not safe. Avoid the South East.
Easterners, where is your outrage on the kidnapping event in Imo State?
PCMs are still in the bush with these kidnappers, in your region.
Where is your outrage? Or, your voice only comes up when it happens in the west?
CALL YOUR GOVERNMENT TO ORDER!!! #bringbackourcorpers
Nobody has been released. Ignore the devilish media muddling the waters.

KOGI NYSC ABDUCTION: WE NEED CLARITY
The Students' Union Government, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has taken note of the reports circulating across several major news platforms concerning the alleged rescue of the abducted NYSC members in Kogi State.
While we welcome every genuine effort towards the safe rescue of the affected corps members, we cannot ignore the serious questions surrounding the information currently being circulated.
Reports from the Kogi State Police Command stated that 11 victims were rescued, while efforts were still ongoing to locate those who remained in captivity.
However, families of some of the victims continue to raise concerns over the status of their loved ones. Reports published on Sunday, 30th August, also indicate that kidnappers have demanded ₦20 million for each victim reportedly still in captivity, according to relatives.
One of the affected corps members is Adedolapo, a FUNAAB graduate from COLAMRUD.
If the 11 victims reported as rescued have indeed been safely released, we need clear confirmation. We need to see them. We need to know their names, their actual number, and receive verifiable evidence of their safe return.
Families are still seeking answers. Victims are still being accounted for. Yet reports suggesting that everyone has been released continue to circulate without resolving these questions.
We therefore call on the relevant authorities and media organisations that have published these reports to do the needful, verify the situation properly and give Nigerians the accurate status of every victim.
We will not stop asking questions. We will not stop amplifying the voices of the affected families. And we will not allow conflicting information to make the situation disappear.
We need clarity. We need answers. We need our people safely back home.

Dear Mr President, @officialABAT, we call on you to take the necessary action. This lady and some of her colleagues are being held captive by kidnappers. ₦20 million as ransom is unconscionable.
Kindly retweet as soon as this gets to your TL.

We are still hoping for the safe release of the Bayelsa Corps members abducted on Wednesday. Please help us repost, talk about it and put more pressure on the government officials involved.
They cannot be forgotten that easily.

#CorpersLivesMatter

These group of Corpers were taken yesterday on their way to Abuja going from Bayelsa State camp. The vehicle they took was Peace Mass transit. My sister is among them and she has malaria right from camp. The kidnappers are asking for 20 million Naira. I don’t know what to do!

This has been Nigeria since APC took over the government. We cannot continue like this. #Bringbackourcorpers!
