✅ Pi Price on the Exchange is a real-time price according to market supply and demand,valid on all Exchanges that have KYB'ed.Each Exchange has an API Code (Application Programming Interface) to connect to other Applications or dApps in the Ecosystem.
How does it work?
⏩ The value of 1 Pi = 314159 USD applies in the Pi Network Main Ecosystem,from the results of the Pioneers contribution.
⏩ Example,the market price of Pi on the OKX Exchange today is 1 Pi = 1 USD..When you're going to use it to shop on dApps,the system will know whether your Pi comes from OKX,Bitget,MEXC,etc.,based on the API Code of each Exchange.Let's say you buy a luxury car for 314159 USD on one dApp,then you will need 314159 Pi that you bought on the Exchanges.If you use Pi from contributions,you only pay 1 Pi.
🛑 Why can Pi have 2 different values?? The main purpose of Pi being listed on the Exchanges are for wider adoption.Any new user who owns Pi through the Exchanges must register as a Pioneer,which means they must meet KYC and AML (Anti Money Laundering) compliance in order to participate in the Pi Network Main Ecosystem and be able to mine Pi and make other contributions to get 1 Pi = 314159 USD.If they don't register,they can only use Pi according to the market price on the Exchanges as a regular user.Only Pi contribution results in the Ecosystem has GCV value.
‼️Is it safe to transfer Pi from the Exchanges to the Pi Wallet?? It's very safe,because the system will differentiate between Pi contribution results and purchased on the Exchanges.Each Exchange has its own API Code to make it easier for the system to detect.Your Pi Wallet will display the amount of Pi contribution rewards and Pi purchased on the Exchanges (non-contribution).What if you buy Pi mined by other Pioneers? It's the same,it will be calculated according to the market price.
🟣 What about Companies,Organizations and Institutions who want to adopt Pi?? They will run their own Nodes to earn Pi contribution rewards (GCV),and can buy Pi on the Exchanges like other users.CT will also facilitate them with various Programs..Example: Pi Network Ventures.
🤗 There will be some Major Exchanges selected by CT to facilitate Pi to FIAT swaps based on GCV Value while adhering to daily swaps limits.These Exchanges will be part of the Pi Network's Main Ecosystem (Possibly Pi Bank).To shop for goods and services in the Ecosystem,there is no Pi daily limit,it all depends on the ability of dApps to prepare the needs of Pioneers.
