Camcorders are another example of white ppl not having to start from scratch imo โ
Like thereโs prob so much confidence, identity, self assurance, grounding that comes w being able to look back at film of urself + ur family in that way โ

Carmen Xtravaganza kept a blog online, up through her death. Actually, when she died last year I spent a few hours going through the site, reading her stories and clicking through the images.
Today, I went to reference it โ itโs gone.
Invite people to help you.
Set reminders on your phone.
Determine a place / location where you will always stop.
Determine a time that make sense to document yourself.
Set the intention why you want to document yourself + these moments.
