This process is facilitated by a set of smart contracts on the @avax blockchain, @chainlink Functions, and a decentralized data warehouse called @spaceandtime, The solution also makes use of @storj object storage and Cloudflare workers.
The project aims to unlock the value of unmined gold reserves while minimizing the environmental impact and cost of traditional forms of gold mining and extraction. It also provides a more accessible and sustainable financial ecosystem by allowing fractional ownership and trading of gold reserves.
In the future, the team plans to improve the smart contracts, design a user-friendly UX, and enhance the integration process for third-party auditors and the KYC process for buyers. They aim to provide a robust backend infrastructure for a compliant gold, precious metal, and physical asset digitization platform.
