Baserunning is arguably the game’s biggest separator skill because so few genuinely care about it or work at it. Things like the precision of a turn or where the base is touched may be the difference between out & safe... win & loss... ring or... #STdrills
Playing catch is, without question, the most important fundamental skill of the game. Pitching and defense are both simple extensions of playing catch. Teams who play catch the best are the teams who win. If you can’t play catch, you can’t play. #STdrills

It’s a non-teach for most (because they don’t know its importance) but should be a must-teach for all. With the fingers down, and palm facing the plate, a glove is as big as possible. When infielders catch raindrops, they are making a small glove, smaller. #STdrills

Holding runners at 2nd:
1. Only 1 player holds runner on
2. Keep quiet & under control
3. In order to effectively hold the runner, you must be closer to the bag than runner. (If runner is important)
4. Don't run in & out, wasted energy. START at desired distance.
