@ZacharyGarris @james_d_baird The question behind the question is “if the civil ruler acknowledges Jesus as his king and sovereign authority, then how does his obedience to the Word of God change the exercise of power?” Hart would posit that it must result in abuses. But #byWhatStandard ?

Five years ago, Founders Ministries released #ByWhatStandard. There is no way we could have known the impact this documentary would have. In many ways, it marked a new chapter in the life of Founders Ministries. Since that time, we have added seven new staff members to our team, started the Institute of Public Theology and have more than doubled our production from Founders Press.
What some may not know, or may not remember, is that the By What Standard documentary was funded by donations from friends like you. In fact, everything we have ever done at Founders has been accomplished by the grace of God, through donations made by His people. Just like when we embarked on filming By What Standard, we are facing many wonderful opportunities to provide more resources and expand ministry opportunities in the next year.
To take advantage of those opportunities we are asking the Lord to provide what we need for additional staff and space. Through the end of 2024, we have a matching fund of $130,000 dollars that can double the work of your donation.
Would you consider joining with us in this work? To learn more about Founders and to contribute to this campaign visit https://t.co/NP31co7qfq
Amen, what has happened to wisdom in the SBC? We have turned from the scriptures to pragmatics on how to be big by compromise of the bibilcal standards all the while pushing missions. The question posed by the project, "#ByWhatStandard are we going to do missions? #WeHaveABook.
"Contrary to Bryson’s fears, the Law Amendment neither expands the Credential Committee’s jurisdiction nor requires it to undertake some exotic new function."
@Byzness responds to EC member Dani Bryson's red herring arguments against the Law Amendment.

They quite vicious in their treatment of victims that they deemed to be lacking sufficient evidence of their assaults (the whole #ByWhatStandard discussions) or “woke”.
And my question for those who will consistently reject Christian (Biblical) morality; #bywhatstandard then?
Modern man calls one hateful if he calls sin sin and he calls one loving if she murders her baby.
I simply ask #bywhatstandard?
Why say this only after the NAAF statement? Proof of a certain analytical tool being employed.
It’s sinful.
Someone warned us…
Wonder who…

My thoughts after #sbc23 on my discomfort with the Law Amendment, honest history about office confusion, and the basis of our cooperation.

Discrimination is not inherently evil.
All discriminate every day; with every decision he makes.
To be sure, one ought to discriminate against that which is evil. We all accept that fact when dealing with murderers. Is sodomy evil?

1 is happy to restrict Mark Levine while promoting LGBTQ. Another is happy to restrict LGBTQ while promoting Levine. Each for the same reason: he believes the first to be bad and the second good. Both cannot be right. We all discriminate.
#bywhatstandard is good/bad determined?

@Chocolate_Knox @FoundersMin 🔥🔥🔥you tell ‘em, bro. #ByWhatStandard was one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. Not to mention one of the most important and meaningful as well.
Our first exposure to all things SBC was @johnlcooper telling my husband and me that we had to check out #ByWhatStandard. He was right, it’s great and if you haven’t watched it you really should!

We have heard from so many people already at the #SBC23 what an encouragement and help this film has been to them. And we pray that the Lord continues to use it.

The divisive convention preacher was unloving, unkind, divisive, and angry in his supposed preaching, where he did not preach the word, but politics. The “cheaply made” cinedoc #ByWhatStandard was a blessing to our church and other men to see the issues that need resolving.
