Watched #C4Rape and wish I hadn't. The attitudes of the police were appalling and that's when they knew they were being filmed. That's not even taking into account the wider societal issues that mean convictions are near impossible to secure.
I was raped as a child, but I didn’t report it & wouldn’t have reported it if it happened now. I wouldn’t want to go through the trauma of retelling it,only to be treated like a liar & constantly having to fight to get a conviction. It would make it even more traumatic #c4rape

Some of the things the police said didn't fill me with any confidence what so ever. Iv reported 2 of my perpetrators, it's been over 2 yrs. Iv no idea what stage I'm at!

I knew this would be a hard watch but I’m really struggling, some of the views, from investigating police officers too. I can’t #c4rape
I just watched the #C4Rape documentary with my husband by my side, holding my hand the entire way through. At the end of 2013, I was raped and had my case investigated by Avon and Somerset Police, the same force followed for this programme. It is my reason for doing the job I do.
