PCR-free long-read @nanopore sequencing detected intended #CAGrepeat deletions, unintended large deletions and rearrangements at #ATXN2 loci and full-length and fragment AAV integrations, with low #methylation. In contrast, PCR-based sequencing detected AAV fragments and ITRs.

I’ve provided evidence to support that the #CAGrepeat expansion is actually protective against the #pollutants that cause #HD. Even if I’m wrong about that, there’s still evidence to suggest that the #amyloid in HD brains functions just like #Alzheimers amyloid: it’s protective.

Who’s ready to see what evidence I’ve got to support an even stronger refutation of the #Huntingtons #GeneticDeterminism consensus: that the #CAGrepeat mutation deemed to be a #cause is actually a #genetic #adaptation to cope with the pollutants I identify as the true cause(s)?

Using principal component analysis, the findings suggest that #CAGrepeat length strongly predicting the rate of cognitive-motor decline in patients with #Huntington disease, with higher CAG resulting in earlier and faster decline. https://t.co/FF7kRPWXFa
