As per CBIC Circular No. 212/6/2024 dated 26-06-2024, to claim deduction on post-sale discount through Credit Notes, the supplier must ensure ITC reversal by the recipient. 2️⃣ How to prove ITC Reversal? 🔒 No system-based facility yet. So, suppliers need to obtain a certificate from a CA or CMA confirming that the recipient has reversed proportionate ITC. 3️⃣ What the CA/CMA Certificate must include: ✔️ Credit Note & Invoice details ✔️ Amount of ITC reversed ✔️ DRC-03 or return proof ✔️ Date of reversal ✔️ UDIN for verification Without this – deduction can be denied. ⚠️ 4️⃣ Exception? If the total tax amount involved is ≤ ₹5 Lakhs in a financial year, a self-declaration from the recipient is enough. 1️⃣ What changed?
As per CBIC Circular No. 212/6/2024 dated 26-06-2024, to claim deduction on post-sale discount through Credit Notes, the supplier must ensure ITC reversal by the recipient.

2️⃣ How to prove ITC Reversal?

🔒 No system-based facility yet.
So, suppliers need to obtain a certificate from a CA or CMA confirming that the recipient has reversed proportionate ITC.

3️⃣ What the CA/CMA Certificate must include:
