I drive 36 miles into London one day a week to a provider to deal with their legal aid claims and VHCCs. CCMS has prevented progress for weeks. After 5.30pm today I'm not back in until early Jan. CCMS does not work in the real world of business it's supposed to serve. #CCMSFail
The Service Status for CCMS today reports only Minor Issues but a search for details of a case leads to this system error message. This seems like more than a minor issue and makes me doubt the reliability of the Service Status reporting system #CCMSfail
The CCMS problem status has now changed from a worrying red “Severe Issues” to more reassuring blue “Scheduled Outage”. I think that an out scheduled for the middle of a Friday afternoon is still a severe issue #CCMSfail
Ccms is apparently back up and running but this is the fourth time it's dumped one of our caseworkers out of their application in the last twenty minutes. Hard to work efficiently when the Gov IT is so slow, unstable and ineffective. #CCMSFail

The @LegalAidAgency told me yesterday on #CCMSfail: We are working urgently to resolve the technical issues with the CCMS that some people are experiencing. We have apologised for the inconvenience & are urging anyone needing to progress applications to contact us by telephone.

Not comfortable with this new requirement to prove to @LegalAidAgency that our clients' are 'not clever enough' to represent themselves in court. Solicitors train for this particular work which is why people, regardless of their education level, use us in proceedings. #CCMSfail

Application for legal aid submitted on 18 January, but due to a technical fault this has disappeared. LAA say we have to prepare it again and re-submit.
Looking forward to the argument about whether we get paid for preparing it twice.
