Okay so I just watched episode 8 of season 9 of RWBY, and by gods that might've been one of the-if not THE-best written episodes in the entire series. From Ruby & Neo's entire interaction, Neo's emptiness, to the Cat's reveal, marvelous.

So episode 3 of volume 9 was...okay. That's it, it wasn't good and it wasn't bad, it was just okay. There was a fight, the girls find out they're not in the original story, they meet the chesire cat, and Neo's semblance evolves...somehow. #RWBY9 #RWBY
#CJs2Cents: You know, my biggest issue with canon bumbleby is how there's really no development in their relationship to this day. From V5 onwards their relationship is kinda just "we like each other and we both kinda know it" and it just stays there for literal years! #RWBY
