We approached this case as a fever of unknown origin work up (FUO) and reviewed its definition, work up and broad differential with the help of these great figures.

She underwent an extensive negative work up including normal: CBC w/ diff, CMP, CPK, U/A, blood/urine cultures, HIV, ANA and hepatitis panel.
But her ESR was 28 and CRP was 14.6! CT A/P w/ contrast had no significant findings.
