While I doubt that I’ll be spending 48 hours away from media again, it is nice to know that it’s not my responsibility to know what’s going on in everyone’s life 24/7. My free time doesn’t have to be consumed by mindless scrolling either. I did miss TV though 🤣. #COMM122

The absence of media for 48 hours taught me that I do need to cut back on my use of it. Since my 48 hour blackout, I’ve noticed how much I mindlessly scroll throughout the day for no reason. I also realized that TikTok consumes entirely too much of my day. #COMM122

Something I did enjoy about this experience was when I ate at The Loft! Instead of my face being stuck in my phone I actually sat there and enjoyed the view while eating. @USIedu #COMM122

Classes are wrapping up for USI and that includes my Understanding Media class with @EGib. This semester we learned a lot of valuable lessons related to all different forms of media. Some lessons are things that I felt needed to be shared with people outside of my #COMM122 class.
