The Church of England has just WITHDRAWN the award that was given to the Islamic cleric Imam Ashrafi on 9/11, due to previously praising Osama Bin Laden
Statement from Lambeth Palace:
“Previous comments made by Imam Ashrafi have come to light that have led Lambeth Palace to reconsider this award and we can now confirm today that the award has been withdrawn.”
What an utter embarrassment this was given to him in the first place by the Archbishop of Canterbury. In my opinion, she should resign over this.
