Everyone is focused on #cUSDC
I think they’re looking at it the wrong way.
A confidential stablecoin by itself isn’t the destination.
It’s the foundation.
What happens when cUSDC can:

• Borrow against assets privately
• Manage corporate treasuries privately
• Settle payments privately
• Power confidential DeFi applications

From what I’ve learned so far, this wasn’t a random freeze of a healthy, diversified pool.
The reports suggest a substantial portion of $ZAMA #cUSDC liquidity was tied to a single depositor that later became the focus of the compliance action.
If that’s ultimately confirmed, I think the outcome may have been driven as much by pool concentration rather than privacy architecture.
One of your more interesting questions is whether designs like #STRK20 can isolate or contain risk at a more granular level instead of forcing action against an entire pool.
If 90%+ of a pool is tied to a single flagged depositor a judge may/could view that very differently than a pool with thousands of independent depositors…
think about it for a second 🤔 ….
That’s a liquidity concentration problem, not necessarily a privacy problem.
