This is the #CaliforniaModel THIS is what Gavin Newsom’s California looks like. 12 I repeat 12 correctional staff have fallen ill, some have required the use of Narcan, some have been hospitalized due to an “unknown substance”. Those of us on the inside track know that the California Institution for Women is notorious for an abundance of drugs, corruption, staff sexual misconduct, unexplained inmate “suicides”, and missing fundraiser money. This prison is full of asbestos and black mold. The water is toxic and now this. When will the governor appointed Secretary of CDCR, Jeffrey Macomber, be held responsible for ANYTHING?

There is so much corruption in this piece I had the honor of working with @carolinedowney_ on. There seems to be no bottom to California’s corruption particularly within the Department of Corrections. California State Senator Scott Weiner claims the s*x offender registry unfairly targets the LGBTQ community, calling it a tool of punishment rather than justice.
He argues that LGBTQ individuals are disproportionately added to the registry, suggesting the system is designed to single them out.

$25M to Dept of Justice to enforce the law when Trump violates it
$25M for legal services, eg deportation defense
$10M to ensure cities & counties can defend against Trump

In 1990 Tremaine Deon Carroll was arrested for his involvement in the gunpoint kidnapping, robbery and s*xual assault of 2 women.
After his release he was arrested again and started identifying as a woman. This 6’2, 200 pound man was then moved to an all women’s prison and now stands accused of R*ping 2 female inmates.
The CA prison system has moved more than 44 male prisoners into all-female facilities since 2021. This is Biden’s America, This is evil.
