I’m headed off on another #BirdNerdRoadie trip! This time to the #bitternsummit in Leeton, to talk #bitterns, #CallTrackers & #acoustics. Once again, taking on the challenge to minimise my carbon emissions on the trip there; so started off from home on foot…

Chuntering west along the Lyall Hwy today to pick up my #CallTrackers recorder, I’m 1 of 4 cars grumpily spaced min dists apart behind a slow RV - that suddenly stops.
Extra grumpy till the RV moves on & we see THE TINIEST echidna racing to the roadside, limbs whirling. Awww…
