💥 AISC is currently $1,437 as per Q4 fins which is good as is, but I believe this will come down further for 2 reasons. Optimization at Campo Morado has been successful and we have yet to see these result reflected in financials. AISC at Tahuehueto in the 2022 PFS was $855/oz. While this cost may have increased slightly over the last 2 years, it is still likely significantly lower than the current average AISC and as production ramps up from 600tpd to the full 1000tpd this will bring down the average AISC.
💥 Revenue will increase due to increased production at both facilities (Campo Morado & Tahuehueto ), but also due to optimization AND separating the bulk copper concentrate at Campo Morado (which $LUCA has successfully done as per NR: https://t.co/3um7bsmPaf)
💥LUCA is aggressive in their production strategy. 60-70,000oz AuEq are targeted in 2024 (and as per Q1 production NR https://t.co/api5O12Mwm are pretty much on track with that run rate). Targeting 100,000 in 2025 and looking to 2.5x that there after. Campo Morado is operating at 2/3 capacity (1600/2400tpd). Tahuehueto has emmence upside as they are operating at about 60% of the 1000tpd facility but permits are in place to increase processing and double throughput at Tahuehueto from 1000tpd to 2000tpd.
💥 Campo Morado is cash flow positive and free cash flow will increase due to optimization and increased production. Tahuehueto is anticipated to be cash flow positive before end of 2024.
💥 Exploration provides blue sky. Both mines already have a long life of 10+ years, but have immense exploration upside
💥 What happens to free cash flow when gold goes up another $100? $200? Etc? Silver $5, $10, etc. That effect on FCF is gigantic.
This is my opinion. Could there be hiccups or unexpected hurdles, absolutely. Could another raise be needed, yeah. But I believe the upside here is drastically better than potential downside. The next 6 months are going to be very exciting, and the next 1-2 years of moving to 100-200,000 oz/year with exploration upside will be very exciting.
