Fractal Bitcoin is a new technology aimed at expanding the Bitcoin network. It utilizes Bitcoin’s core code and achieves infinite scalability through a recursive structure while maintaining the network’s security and decentralization. Fractal Bitcoin supports smart contracts, improves transaction speed, encourages community participation, and opens up new development possibilities for the Bitcoin network. CAT20 is a standard within the Contract Authorization Token (CAT) protocol, specifically designed for issuing and managing fungible tokens (tokens that can be interchanged) on the Bitcoin network. This protocol enables token minting and transfer through Bitcoin scripts and smart contracts without relying on external indexers, ensuring token security and decentralization. CAT721 is another standard within the CAT protocol, intended for issuing and managing non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Bitcoin network. Unlike CAT20, CAT721 tokens are unique and indivisible, making them ideal for applications like digital art and collectibles. It’s worth noting that the implementation of the CAT protocol relies on the OP_CAT opcode within Bitcoin’s script. Currently, this opcode needs to be reactivated for full operation on the Bitcoin network.
