💥 CFB WEEK 0 PLAYER PROP #2 King Miller “U” 1.5 Receptions 0.5 Units Collab ~ @UhCharger USC takes on SJSU this Saturday and me and Charger are targeting King Miller U 1.5 receptions in this one King Miller is coming off an impressive season after being bumped into a much larger role when Waymond Jordan went down with a season-ending injury. Miller took advantage of the opportunity, finishing with 972 rushing yards on 156 attempts while averaging 6.2 YPC. But Jordan is healthy again, and this USC backfield looks completely different entering Week 0 This isn’t necessarily an RB1/RB2 situation either. USC’s depth chart lists Waymond Jordan OR King Miller at RB, and Lincoln Riley has talked about the potential for these two to be the best 1-2 RB combination he’s had during his time at USC. With both healthy, this looks much more like a 1A/1B backfield USC also comes into this game favored by 35+ points at home, which me and Charger took into consideration when looking at how much work Miller will realistically need to get. USC coaches have talked all offseason about how excited they are about the depth of this RB room. If USC comes out firing and builds the type of lead expected, I don’t see much reason for Miller to be playing deep into this game while they have Jordan and multiple younger backs available Miller finished last season with just 16 receptions across 13 games, averaging only 1.23 receptions per game. Now Jordan returns as another proven receiving option out of the backfield. Miller’s biggest weapon is what he does on the ground, and USC shouldn’t need to manufacture receiving touches for him in a matchup where they should be able to establish the run Another thing that caught our attention was Miller’s low rushing-attempt line. The market itself appears to be accounting for a less of a workload with Jordan back in the mix, USC’s RB depth and the possibility of this game turning into a blowout quickly. If Miller’s overall snaps and touches are limited, we’re comfortable attacking the receiving side rather than trying to predict exactly how Riley divides the carries The matchup doesn’t scare us away either. SJSU is coming off a 3-9 season where they allowed 32.5 PPG and over 400 total yards per game. They also allowed around 158 rushing yards per game while opponents averaged roughly 39 rushing attempts. Now the Spartans enter this season replacing a ton of experience, with only one returning defender who started at least six games last year That could create problems with communication, assignments and adjusting to an offense with USC’s talent. If the Trojans control this game the way the spread suggests, they should have absolutely no reason to force touches through one running back Obviously U 1.5 receptions is never a comfortable sweat.
