#TedNugent on the #MidnightSpecial late 1978. EXACTLY at the time of my first ever concert weeks from this performance. I saw #UncleTed at the #Checkerdome in St Louis. #SammyHaggar opened. I had just turned 14. Ted is an incredible guitarist. Yes.. he ruffies feathers w/ his political stances. So WHAT? ( RRHOF refuses to induct HIM, but Dolly and Willie? No problem. ) #DerekStHolmes is the other guitarist and lead vocalist who is beyond incredible. In 2017 on #KissKruise 7 -I attended Paul Stanley’s private event… and Derek performed w Paul. I will put a photo in comments. Paul directly asked me to NOT post the private show video and I will respect his wishes.

Great childhood memories in that old barn. The steep climb up the stairs to the Upper Circle seats. Your feet sticking to the beer-spilled concourse floors. Bob Plager hip checks. And, man was it loud.

In the 70’s we had some uncertain times. Eddie Sutton and @RazorbackMBB became my TV Best Friends. We beat #UCLA together. We made the Final 4 #Checkerdome and we lost to Indiana State together #LarryBird. Sports on TV can save kids. And Coach’s can become lifelong Hero’s. #RIP
