Yesterday, we had the honor of serving thousands of @CapitolPolice & supporting agencies who worked long hours to keep DC safe during the pro-insurrection rally. Thanks to the amazing @WCKitchen volunteers who made beautiful sandwiches & to our restaurant partners ๐ #ChefsForDC

Meanwhile @chefjoseandres and @WCKitchen are still on the ground feeding service members hot meals. And @PQST has been making 400 meals a day for @DCPoliceDept. It's amazing to see DC's restaurant industry step up when they've lost so much.

Todayโs meals for first responders coming out the #ChefsForDC kitchen: Creamy tomato chicken and vegetable pasta, and a turkey & swiss sandwich with homemade honey dijonnaise (plus fruit! ๐๐). With Inauguration 24 hours away, additional troops are being stationed throughout DC.
