Top Tweets for #Cherishable
I love this type of imagined interaction between loved ones.
Now I want to add this feature to #Cherishable!
Damn, I wasn't ready for how this would feel. We didn't have a camcorder, so there's no video of me with my mom. I dropped one of my favorite photos of us in midjourney as 'starting frame for an AI video' and wow... This is how she hugged me. I've rewatched it 50 times.
Announcing major updates to #Cherishable!
1) Split photo editing and animation into two steps
This simplified workflow matches my ideal customer profile of non-technical people who have never edited a video before.
2) Added a FREE background removal API
Previously, this ran in the browser, which was slow and didn't work on mobile devices.
3) Add a premium "Enhance photo" feature
This uses the amazing new Flux Kontext model by @bfl_ml and hosted by @replicate.
This feature provides the ability to fix common problems with family photos, including low resolution, blurry, and damaged photos.
The unexpected (but hilarious) discovery is that it also de-cartoonized my sample images!
Thanks to @cursor_ai and @AnthropicAI Sonnet 4.0 for making these complex updates possible!
"Heck, why not work on one more thing this weekend, Tristan?"
(working on a new feature for #Cherishable)
I've put up another flux kontext app that can be easily used for image restoration:

It's been a few weeks since I opened up @lovable, and I wanted to try out the new Lovable 2.0 update.
I started by opening my #Cherishable app, only to be greeted by a dozen errors.
I let Lovable fix them; they sounded like a required change due to an updated version of the @supabase client.
Those fixes failed, and now Lovable can't find @vite_js.
TLDR: I'm going to wait for Lovable 2.0 to cook some more before trying it again.
#Cherishable made the cut of the top 100 apps for the @lovable Build Competition!
I’ll find out tomorrow if it made it into the top 10. Fingers crossed!🤞
I am so happy to announce the long-awaited launch of Cherishable 1.0!
When each of my grandparents died, I decided to honor them by creating video slideshows to remember their lives.
It took me a lot of time and effort to learn how to create those videos and share them with the rest of the family.
I started Cherishable because I want to make creating these special videos as painless as possible. I want to enable everyone to honor their family with moving memories.
Please share this so Cherishable can achieve this goal. Thanks!
