The President handing over car keys, smartphone and other early Xmas gifts to a female Chief. Its pleasing to see the #EDiology of inclusion of young people and women in practice among Chiefs. In the past the Chieftainship was strictly reserved for male elders. The Ediology of inclusion is permeating across the board in Zimbabwe and its one among many reasons why the President enjoys remarkable mass support.
In terms of gender dynamics,in spite of worrisome incidencies of violence against women, Zimbabwe is making remarkable strides towards promoting gender equity for example we now have more Women Chiefs, female PG, female AG, more female Judges, female Ministers, MPs, Senators, Councillors, Ceos etc. Nevertheless, more needs to be done to achieve gender equality by 2030 latest.
