This morning at Parliament Buildings, I attended the launch of the survey results by Melted Parents NI, shedding light on the far-reaching consequences of the childcare crisis on families throughout Northern Ireland.
A noteworthy portion of respondents expressed their contemplation of having to either leave their jobs or reduce their work hours due to childcare costs.
It's evident that as a collective, government has not fulfilled the promise of sufficient childcare support. This needs to be taken forward as a priority.
