On February 1, 2025, officers responded to a felony hit-and-run collision that occurred near Club Center Drive and Natomas Boulevard. The victim sustained great bodily injury as a result of the collision. The other driver fled the scene prior to police arrival. This case was forwarded to our Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) detectives who began diligently following up on leads. Through their detailed investigation, detectives were able to identify a suspect vehicle, the suspect in this case, and obtained a felony warrant for hit-and-run resulting in permanent injury. On April 8, 2025, detectives arrested 31-year-old Antonio Garcia of Sacramento and booked him into the Sacramento County Main Jail. This arrest underscores the unwavering dedication of the men and women of the Sacramento Police Department to hold those who victimize our community accountable. @SacPoliceChief @SPDNorthCommand
