DEFENSE 📚 Great pick play / D rotation vs. Pairs style offense: •Rotate Over/Recover Crease = often better than switching •Challenges a team if they have GD O spacing •🔑 is the 🗣 to bump to crease and great on glove pressure by ⁦@AirHeart12⁩ #CoachingDefense #PLL

DEFENSE 📚 1 error all D make at some point = chasing stick on doubles *GD initial 1v1/Double out of roll *D chases stick allows O to slip double *In any good double scenario the priority = stop O’s feet 1ST STOP THEM, THEN CHOP THEM #coachingdefense @PremierLacrosse

DEFENSE 📚 • don’t jog passively, be on ball aggressive = dictate the terms of engagement • Make contact sooner = control space and make him work • avoid T-Rex arms = keep arms extended and stay lower to reinforce power behind hands #CoachingDefense ⁦@PremierLacrosse⁩

Great team defense. 1. Quick slide to elite mid w/ good angle 2. 2 slide fills/keeps sight of roll off 3. GD release off mid and directing man to new crease 4. Great backside approach angle, D helmet below O helmet, tracks hips/gets GD jam O neutralized #coachingdefense #pll

common mistake I see too often. throwing this 1 handed wrap/poke when ur man is dodging toward the goal. All he has to do is step in on u. no power to stop him. The initial phase of a 1v1 is the foundation of ur 1v1 house... do u build it on sand or stone? #coachingdefense #pll
