#ColdMetalTransfer or #CMT is a welding process developed by Fronius of Austria. While the name implies the process being “cold”, reality is that it generates so much brightness and heat that it is impossible to see what goes on beneath the bright light. HT @WevolverApp #Tech

CMT, or Cold Metal Transfer, is a modified GMAW process in that it retracts the wire when detecting a short, allowing for cooling of the weld before the next drop which results in smoother and stronger weld. Credits: @CavitarLtd #CMT #ColdMetalTransfer #tech #laserillumination
