I agree. This serious impairs #Collection42 as well as my fast-lineage scanner which did recently lead to the designation of lineage QF.3.
CoV Spectrum has a version using only data from the American, Chinese, European, and Japanese databases, but those have much less data.

While NB.1.8.1 on its way for world domination, another new variant XFG rises to rk 2 in collection42.
XFG is recombinant of LP.8.1.2 and LF.7. It was detected by @siamosolocani at 1 seq in Canada, and rises to ~10% in North America very recently.

But now 3 lineages with S:H445P, LF.7.7.2, LF.7.9, and PA.1, are rising on #Collection42 https://t.co/lyURwRfM0H. These may be worth watching. The Bloom and Neher estimated advantage is a whopping +3.83.
