Because of your generosity the SpeedoMick Foundation has been able to help send 60 children on holiday to #Colomendy in #Wales. When I was in school I was 1 of 2 children in my year who couldn't afford to go to Colomendy with my friends because we simply couldn't afford it. The school stepped in at the last moment and subsidises both myself and another pupil. I had the time of my life on that holiday with my mates. We we're 12 at the time and me and my 4 mate's sang these boots our made for walking when we went on a trip through the woods. It was a sign of course because those boots ended up raising a few quid so we could send 60 kids to Colomendy ๐ซถโจ๏ธ
I was a handful but the school #included me and for that I am very very grateful.
I mean I nearly got sent home 3 time's ๐ but the teachers done right by me and let me stay with my friends.
It is so so important for children to be included as it is the making of them when they are Included, I know that as a fact.
The moral of this story is my memories of that school holiday are vivid in my mind today and I have so many happy memories, so I am returning my gratitude to St Margaret Mary's by sending children to Colomendy for a holiday that they may not otherwise have gone on, and we are given their parents a much needed rest as my Mum needed one from me.
THANK YOU to everyone who donated on my stomps you have all made such a massive difference in people's lives, I am simply the middle man who is passing your good will gesture on.
