Re: Skies Above [Sector Survey Request 004]
The Angel's Luck recently finished its exploration and survey mission for Constellation in the Newton system, where we experienced some breathtaking skies. While conducting mineral studies and taking readings, we were suddenly caught in a powerful storm. One moment the skies were clear, and then the wind picked up and the heavens opened into a downpour. The light display and the colors dancing across the sky were truly awe-inspiring.
Newton III also treated us to stunning sunsets, with its bright yellow star casting rays and shadows over the landscape, adding character and life to otherwise dull and barren areas. The entire crew gathered outside the ship with drinks and snacks to watch these sunsets every evening.
On Newton V-b, there was a peaceful moment when a gentle snowfall began, settling on the flowering trees we had planted at a newly established outpost. The sky stayed clear, but the flakes fell as if from nowhere as the sun set behind the mountains. In the morning, the sunrise revealed large clouds in the misty light and a sky that rippled in waves like the sea. These were truly some of the most remarkable skies we've encountered on our journey through this fascinating star system.

“It’s hard to stay mad when there’s so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once, and it’s too much… I can’t feel anything but gratitude—for every single moment of my stupid, little life.”- Alan Ball, writer, American Beauty
