Day 20 of my #Web3SecurityJourney
Today I went deep into #ComputerSecurity.
Not just passwords.
Not just antivirus.
But the foundation that protects systems, data, and digital value.
At the core is the CIA Triad:
✓Confidentiality
✓Integrity
✓Availability
If data is exposed → confidentiality fails.
If data is altered → integrity fails.
If systems go down → availability fails.
Security exists in layers:
1• Physical security
2• Network security
3• Application security
4• Operating system security
5• Cryptography
In #Web3, this becomes even more critical.
✓Private keys must remain confidential.
✓Transactions must maintain integrity.
✓Nodes and exchanges must stay available.
I’m learning that security is not a tool.
It is a mindset!!
✓Reduce attack surface.
✓Apply least privilege.
[Design with defense in depth.
100% security does not exist.
But disciplined security thinking reduces risk and impact.
From understanding systems → to protecting them.
