As I thought, Burnham had it in the bag, that’s a landslide win. Big takeaways: - The right didn’t even have enough combined to win - Seismic for Burnham, horrendous news for Keir Starmer - Bad result for Reform and a reality check for Restore, Tories not even on the register. - Restore polling nowhere near the 20% flaunted in online, less votes than BNP - Polanski effect? Is it damaging Greens, not even increasing vote share - Reform message not breaking through, polling also totally off, small vote share increase from GE - Andy Burnham effect stronger than thought by most
