Please read and take heed…👇🏽
I’m sick of this “me-centered” worship culture. Church isn’t a concert. Worship isn’t about my feelings, my blessings, or what God can do for me. Worship is about giving Him the praise, honor, reverence, and awe He alone deserves.
It’s time we return to worship that exalts God for who He is, holy, mighty, sovereign, and worthy. Worship is not about exalting our pride, our emotions, or our narcissism.
Let’s stop treating the King of Kings like a spiritual vending machine and start giving Him the gratitude and thanksgiving He is owed.
Jesus > feelings
Holiness > hype
Reverence > entertainment

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy (and we all do), the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
– C.S. Lewis (Mere Christianity)
Emphasis added.
God Himself invites us to seek Him.
Seek God.

Who has ascended into heaven,
or descended?
Who has gathered the wind in His fists?
Who has bound the waters in a garment?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is His name, and what is His Son’s name,
If you know?

IT’S TIME TO LIVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY FOR JESUS.
Worthy admonishment…
Do not be sin-steered,
rather be sincere in passionately pursuing the perfect will of God for your life, in these perilous times.

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand,
Measured heaven with a span& calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales& the hills in a balance?
Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord,
Or as His counselor has taught Him?

Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who delight in them.
Full of splendor and majesty is His work,
and His righteousness endures forever.
He has caused His wondrous works to be remembered. The Lord is gracious and merciful.

He who planted the ear, shall He not hear?
He who formed the eye, shall He not see?
He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct,
He who teaches man knowledge?
The Lord knows the thoughts of man,
That they are futile (pointless).

To resolve sentiment don't only think
" How will this person feel?"
Consider "How will God feel"?
