Thiamin is an important coenzyme, and the @ADHansonLab applies SynBio to target one of it's biosynthetic steps catalyzed by THI4 thiazole synthase. This enzyme occurs in plants as suicide enzyme - a perfect target for #ContinuousDirectedEvolution.
