I'm very curious about this. I loved Marvel Heroic RPG (#CortexPlus) and the first game I ever GMed for was with the The Marvel Universe Roleplaying Game (which used stones instead of dice). Let's see what this d616 System is all about!
Today is the official launch day for the MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME PLAYTEST RULEBOOK. You can find out more about it on the official @Marvel site: https://t.co/YiiNK0Kjuv
This weekend's Kotatsu Design Club project will be a #cortexplus hack of everyone's favorite MMO Isekai anime series.
Let's see how much my @CortexRPG design skills have atrophied since my most recent hacks (Mass Effect and SAO) back in 2013.

here are some pictures of #Taxonomy using #CortexPlus
maybe gonna send a deck to @boymonster. otherwise if there’s interest, I would have to change the system to Momentum once I can get around to it
Some #CardDesign for #PotC Path of the Chosen #TTRPG #GameDesign
Need to rewrite all the card texts tho, since it was formerly based on #CortexPlus https://t.co/EfNMvQrrcX
I’ve decided to go with my own system on PotC instead of #cortexplus
It works similarly to Michtim. your dicepool consists of two stats plus a specialization die (if your theme gives you one), you can set aside dice for increased effect (total > 7) and 6s give Momentum
Here are some THEMES for the new #cortexplus based #PotC!! #gamedesign #cards #ttrpg
Characters consist of 1 Profession (blue) and 2 Themes (pink)
the beauty of #cortexplus is:
your Specialization d10s always really help, even if you have 2d6 from your attributes
this alone makes it a better system for me than #dnd’s skills. if you have bad stats, you can never compensate this with a skill; it’s a waste of proficiency
So here are some example Themes
I’m planning to add a lot more. I have settled on three Specializations and every character starts out with TWO of these in addition to their Profession card
You could be a Highborn Martial Soldier for example #ttrpg #cortexplus #gamedesign
I made a #brushlettering #English variant of my #TTRPG overview!
It’s a #CortexPlus hack where you combine two Stats (purple) to form a dice pool for actions. Specializations add another d10, and you pick the highest two dice (as usual) to get your task power.
Let’s look at the Professions, and tell me what you think. You won’t find any notion of magic at all. A lot of the character’s color comes from the unnamed Specializations (works like Distinctions in #CortexPlus). The basic foundation is just raw ability for tasks. #gamedesign
Working on my #CortexPlus/#DSA hack
5 Stats rated d12, d10, d8, d6, d4
The Skills (called Talents in DSA) are always two Stats combined
Charisma, Dexterity, Body, Will, Logic
CD trick
DB fight
BW resist
WL unveil
LC persuade
CB seduce
GW evade
BL sense
WC command
LD tinker
Hell.
Surprising NO ONE I started statting up Queen's Blade characters for the #CortexPlus #ttrpg game back in like 2014.
I never ran a session with them, have since lost the InDesign files in a HDD crash, but should update them for #CortexPrime.

OK better quality pictures
I’m working on a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-like TTRPG that uses Cards and #CortexPlus rules
#gamedesign #taxonomy
How do you like my calligraphy back?
Here’s me reimagining the #Pokemon types with my own spin. I especially am proud of the Queer type (instead of Fairy)
Thoughts? #gamedesign #ttrpg #cortexplus
The three keywords give an impression when to add the Type d10 as a positive; works like distinctions
So, #Pokemon is hard on my mind right now, and I really wanna make a #TTRPG that’s card based and inspired by PKMN but distinct enough. So creatures living in a pristine environment without oppressive humans.
I will use some inspirations from Path of the Chosen and #CortexPlus
