The Unofficial @Veefriends #Countdown2Chrome #TopCharactersMadness Tourney Bracket is set!
Starting Monday April 28th, the community will decide who the top character to chase is in the VF 2025 @Topps Chrome set
The voting schedule is posted below in the bottom middle of the bracket graphic. Come to my X page on those dates to vote on those specific rounds. We will name the top character on Topps Chrome Release Day May 7th!
How can you participate other than voting? You can fill out a bracket (pick the winners of each round all the way to the finals) and send it to me via DM or comment on this post.
Everyone who fills out a complete bracket, follows @ToTheMoon_Cards, @iJayRob and @TGer_01, will be eligible for a FREE BOX OF VEEFRIENDS TOPPS CHROME HOBBY! We will randomize the winner from contestants that meet that criteria (complete bracket and following three accounts above) live and rip your box of Chrome Hobby on the first To The Moon Topps Chrome stream!
There will be no specific prize this time for having the most accurate bracket. In 2023, because we offered a prize for most accurate, it really threw off a lot of the voting as people pushed hard for the characters they picked to win. This will be a fun one where the best character will win and the participants all have an equal chance at winning the free box of Chrome. Bragging rights are priceless though!
The bracket image may seem super small, so see thread for breakouts by division (ERUPT & Y2K, ICONIC & MANGA)
Just as an FYI, the Black Cat has been excluded from this competition. Its position as the logo gives an unfair advantage and also, it is my belief that the cat really is in a completely separate category. We ran the top character tourney originally back in 2023 and the cat won by a landslide. I decided then to exclude it from any future competitions.
So excited to be running another Top Character Tourney with all of you. Best community in the world.
