@Speaker_Abbas dear Sir, this your intending #CounterSubversionBill is undemocratic and anti-people. It portrays your assembly as a rubber-stamp of the executive and an accessory to dictatorship and authoritarianism. I'm sure that this is not the legacy you and your colleagues would like to be remembered with.
This post is therefore an appeal to you to step down that obnoxious bill. What the country needs now is for the Assembly to join hands with the executive in finding lasting solutions to the economic and security problems bedevilling the country, and plunging more and more hardworking citizens into hunger, poverty, and depravation and not bills like this resemblant of the old order of infamous despots and dictatorships.
You and your colleagues should rather be true apostles of democracy in word and indeed.
This is my appeal.
