A few people responded to this tweet with a textbook example of #CovertAggression, pointing out that I too am supposedly like a lab rat if I sent this tweet. Notice: they ignore the point I made, and manipulatively try to attribute guilt to me. Socialists rarely do anything else!

Well said - apart from the little chorus that broke out at 0.05. "Well, you're a member of the political class too" - a brazen attempt to shift the blame onto Farage even as he is in the middle of articulating his concerns. Displaced/projected blame is classic #CovertAggression.
We have a genuine democratic crisis in this country. This is a coalition of politicians against the people.

"Colourful language" is downplaying the issue, and then he shifts the blame back onto Farage, who has never said anything so sinister as to consign his opponents to eternal damnation. Two classic examples of #CovertAggression.

An exquisite example of #CovertAggression. Instead of acknowledging the concerns of Brexiteers, by saying "yep, fair enough, Tusk wasn't elected by the UK public", and then offering a rational defence of this scenario, he comes up with some utter tripe to deflect from the issue.
Andrea Leadsom just said "No one in the UK voted for Donald Tusk". He was voted in in 2017 by 27 out of 28 votes. The dissenter was Poland. So someone in the UK must have voted for him. Once again @bbcnews failing to hold Brexity politicians to account.
