Over the past few Fridays, @KPMGEastAfrica's Advisory team have taken part in the "Crafts for Cure" outreach program at Kenyatta National Hospital, organized by @FarajaTrust.
This week, KPMG staff paid a courtesy call to Faraja Cancer Support Trust (@FarajaTrust) and made a donation in support of their work with cancer patients through the White Water Rafting Challenge and "Crafts for Cure" programs.

Art therapy for children can provide kids with an easier way to express themselves since children are more naturally artistic and creative.

Sadly, 20% of children with Cancer in Kenya survive compared to the 80% from the developed countries. This can be attributed to the high cost of medicine, lack of proper community awareness, late diagnosis as well as lack of specialized training.
