For those wondering: if you can get into safe mode without the recovery key to delete a security related driver, you should really look at Windows LAPS for managing the password of the DEFAULT admin (with rotation).
Stop using different accounts for LAPS!
Important question for #Crowdstrike endpoint admins that have BitLocker: When you followed the 10 steps to recover, did it force you to use a recovery key at any point?

👀 FYI the biggest technology outage in the history of human civilization was caused by one line of code. It was a null pointer exception, caused by one programmer's failure to follow defensive coding practices. Most companies would detect it auto by code analysis and testing.
